Entrance to the home is either down coral stone steps and through the oversized front door, or simply take the walkway from the parking area straight onto the elevator, which gives you access to five different levels. While entering the front door, you will first notice the original artwork secured from around the globe, from the greatest artists here on St. Thomas to Buenos Aires, India, Thailand and Miami. But the custom made Luminaire Italian glass chandelier is the focal point towards your view of the water. You can make yourself comfortable on the linen couch, or just plant yourself on the silk rug next to the 1400 pound Pucci marble topped coffee table. The room has very high ceilings and generously flows to various bedrooms, the library, bar, dining room, and kitchen. The bar room has a custom pool table of the finest quality, built by Mitchell Pool Tables in Florida. The bar itself has refrigerator, wine cooler, ice machine, sinks, and plenty of storage for your favorite beverages. The custom cabinetry and bar were made in Bogota, Columbia, of walnut and leather with quartz top. The adjoining half bath has spectacular stingray wallpaper. A 67 inch Sharp Aquos Television is rooted on more custom cabinetry from Bogata and faces a cotton and silk couch with a horse hair ottoman, as well as a four seat bar table with custom leather seating. Various local St. Thomian artwork adorns the walls. The Media Center is custom designed by Force Four and has an abundance of music that plays through the Bose stereo system, easily operated through the remote that also services the television. The bar is separated from the kitchen by the dining room, which is anchored by the ten seat solid oak dining table. It is paralleled by an equally large side serving table, which like the chandelier was built by Italian Glass maker Luminaire. The entire room opens to the outside via four large sliders that are easily tucked into the wall for an outside dining feeling. The kitchen sits opposite the bar room for easy access to both the dining room and bar area. The entire kitchen has brand new cabinets and appliances, along with “Snow White” quart countertops and a tremendous amount of storage space. The essential dishwasher, wine refrigerator, and in counter microwave supplement the large stainless refrigerator / freezer, stove and oven. For those times when more space is required, there is an additional refrigerator / freezer just outside of the kitchen so you have plenty of space for everything you need. Additionally, the cabinets are filled with countless serving platters, dishes, plates, and utensils from all parts of the World, giving you many different themes for large parties. The master bedroom has both his and her bathrooms and closets. Both walk in closets are custom designed and built to give a very roomy feel while still holding most everything you may acquire. The bathrooms are on opposite sides of the room and allow plenty of space and privacy for everyone. The ladies bathroom has huge windows with incredible down island views and two oversized showerheads that flow straight down from the ceiling. The king sized bed is walk around and gives the same incredible views towards the ocean. Or use the electric blinds and focus on a large flat screen television while blocking out all natural light to the room. Two custom loungers face an alternate flat screen television on the other side of the room from the bed, making this entire master suite a home in itself. Each of the three guest rooms have their own en-suite bathrooms, large closets, and complete privacy. All but one of the bathrooms has double sinks and is extremely large. Masterful attention to intricate tile work dominates each of the bathrooms. One of them is built into the rocks, showcasing natural boulders and a “bamboo wall.” From the elevator at the parking level, you may first exit at the male Master Bedroom closet, the library or the bar room. Or simply take a ride straight down to the lowest level. The last stop gets you to the wine cellar and gym. The wine cellar can host a party of its own. It is centered by a small granite topped bar table. Four bar stools fit perfectly under the table to keep the room open when the seats are not necessary. There are several large glass fronted wine coolers with three separate temperature settings and wine-safe interior lighting. Custom shelving adjoins the wine coolers, and the walls are faux finished for a very natural feel. If you prefer to be outdoors, there is a private seating area just outside for settling in with your favorite bottle of wine. Adjoining the wine cellar is the gym. But this is no ordinary gym. It has floor to ceiling windows to take in the incredible view. It is filled with various exercise equipment: 2 very high tech spin bikes, a Cadillac pilates machine, treadmill, elliptical, gyrotonic machine, powerplate, a multi machine for various weight exercises, and a ballet bar. So you can view the television from any machine, it holds two flat screen televisions on opposite walls. Those walls that are not windows are fully mirrored, and ceiling fans help to keep you cool in addition to the air conditioning. There is an adjacent full bathroom and large laundry room so you don’t even need to go upstairs dirty. You may also exit the gym directly to the pool deck, which can also be accessed via stairs from the kitchen level. Of course the pool deck is situated directly towards some of the most fantastic views in the Virgin Islands, with down island views of Hans Lollick, Jost Van Dyke, Tortola, St. John, and the many cays between St. Thomas and St. John. The pool is very inviting with a small water fall, steps, and an infinity edge. It is just steps away from a nice spa for keeping warm after your workout. But the highlight of the entire pool deck is the waterfall that flows down large boulders into a “cooling pool.” This water is re-circulated via pump and is also purified with an ultraviolet filter. This pool is just next to the full outside bar which holds an icemaker, two refrigerators, and hot and cold water. The entire deck is filled with the highest quality lounge chairs, large table and chairs, umbrellas, bar stools, and everything else you need to be comfortable. The entire space renders the feeling of your own small private resort. Palm trees jut up directly from the deck to accompany the water with the perfect Caribbean feel. No detail is forgotten with the additional outdoor shower and half bathroom.
